The mission of Canine Behavior Clinic is to provide training and behavior modification without prejudge to breed. Furthermore, CBC will strive to provide these services at competitive rates.
CBC will work closely with the client and their veterinarian to coordinate the treatment. Often times physical maladies and chemical imbalances are a contributing factor to behavior problems in dogs and may very well cause problems that affect temperament of an otherwise normal dog. Working together, the veterinarian and CBC are the best team to resolve such issues. CBC will forward a written report to the referring veterinarian upon request.
CBC believes whole heartedly in the LIMA approach of training and behavior modification. The use of LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimal Aversive) prevents the likelihood of other problems developing while solving the problem at hand. Additionally, CBC will not recommend or form association with any trainer or behavior consultant that does not subscribe to the same high standards.
CBC will modify the behavior of the dog with a method suitable to the goals of the owner and the temperament and working ability of the dog. We will not allow dogs to be trained beyond their capabilities, regardless of the purpose the owner has planned for this dog.
