About Jerry

Jerry is a certified dog behavior consultant with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). I have served on the Board of Directors of the American Temperament Testing Society, Inc (ATTS) and I am a Teaching Chief Tester with ATTS. I am also a certified PetTech Instructor, certified to teach pet first aid.

Jerry is the owner of Canine Behavior Clinic, practicing positive reinforcement training in the middle of an area of the country where aversive-style training is still the more common type of training. He is the author of The Breeder’s Guide to Raising Superstar Dogs, a book mainly geared towards breeders in which socialization, imprinting, and proper puppy placement is strongly encouraged, along with total positive reinforcement training techniques. Jerry has several seminars scheduled across the country where he presents his Superstar Program.
